A summer with meaning

Leave connected.

The Return Generation™ is a proposed Ghana Cultural Immersion & Experiential Learning Program connecting diaspora students with Ghanaian peers, educators, and community leaders.

Through shared learning, cultural immersion, and honest conversation, we create space to explore who we are, where our histories meet, and what we can build together. Ghana is our first destination—a place to encounter both heritage and contemporary African life.

Before you join

Your questions, answered.

Is the Summer 2027 program open for booking?

We are gathering expressions of interest and developing the founding cohort. Dates, pricing, host arrangements, and booking terms are not yet confirmed. No payment is collected on this website.

Who is the program designed for?

The proposed program is designed for university students and recent graduates aged 18 and over, with a focus on diaspora connection and shared learning with Ghanaian peers. Final eligibility will be set with participating institutions.

Will I earn academic credit?

Academic credit requires approval and an agreement with your university. The proposed program includes a certificate of completion from The Real Return Academy; this does not itself confer academic credit.

Are scholarships or sponsored places available?

We intend to explore university, donor, and business sponsorship. Funding is not yet secured or guaranteed. You can indicate interest in financial support in your inquiry.

Is this a reciprocal university exchange?

The first proposed offering is a cultural and educational immersion with shared student learning. Formal academic partnerships and reciprocal travel arrangements are development goals, subject to agreements and funding.

What support will be provided during travel?

Staffing, accommodation, emergency arrangements, accessibility needs, insurance requirements, and participant responsibilities will be detailed in the final university and student information packet before booking.
